The samosa is a traditional Indian savory pastry stuffed with spicy vegetables. This recipe is derived from Indian cuisine and Thai flavors. These samosas are a combination of Szechuan Chinese, the tropical flavor of Malaysia, and curry spices of southern India. This aromatic appetizer is a perfect harmony of flavor and texture. Stuffed with corn, peas and wonderful spices, these samosas are an exotic finger food choice for weddings, anniversary parties, birthday parties or any occasion.
 
Ingredients:
 

 

Samosa Filling: Green pea, carrot, corn, garlic, onion, ginger, lemongrass, parsley, flour, water, vegetable oil, lemon juice, salt, sugar, curry powder. Dough: Wheat flour, water, salt.
 
Directions:
 

 

Line tray with parchment paper. Place samosas 1/2 apart on baking tray. Preheat oven to 375 degrees f. Bake samosas for 10-12 minutes. For deep frying, heat fryer to 350 degrees f. Fry appetizers for 2-3 minutes. Do not microwave. Keep appetizers frozen. Do not thaw or defrost.
