Shiloh Ahlstrand is a native-born southern
Californian. After a near 10-year stint of living out of state, he returned to
his true home and took up with a new intensity an old passion--performing
magic. At 14 years of age, he was awarded "junior member" status in the
world's most exclusive magic club, the famous Hollywood Magic Castle (a
coveted honor received by only 25 young magicians in the world at a time).
Soon thereafter he began his career as a professional magician.
Shiloh now entertains for Hollywood's elite. His
clients have included Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman, The West Wing, DreamWorks,
Touchstone, and Disney. He has performed at private events with various
celebrities in attendance including, Steven Spielberg, Pierce Brosnan, Keely
Shaye-Smith, Robert Wise (the director and producer of West Side Story and The
Sound of Music), and Ruby Mazur (the artist who designed The Rolling Stones'
famous tongue logo). Additionally, he has entertained for United States
Treasurer Rosario Marin as well as other national and state dignitaries. And
Shiloh has lectured, upon request, at the Magic Castle, where he now, as an
adult magician, holds "magician member" status.
But not only adults benefit from Shiloh's
magic--children do as well. His "Do What's Right!" message addresses the
importance of character, and his "Life is Magic" message encourages children
to make the most of their actual and potential abilities.
Shiloh is currently working on a performance for
President George W. Bush.
