Michael Jr. - Stand-up Comedian
A native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Michael Jr
can thank technical difficulties for his big break in comedy. While watching a
film in a packed theater of 400 people, the movie suddenly snapped and the
house lights came on. Acting on a friend's dare, Michael walked to the front
of the large and disgruntled audience and discovered his gift.
Michael has performed in top comedy clubs in
both New York and Los Angeles. He has been featured on The Tonight Show,
Premium Blend on Comedy Central, and Comic View on BET.
His hard work and respect for stand-up have rewarded him high marks from
such comedy icons as George Wallace, Gary Shandling, and Jay Leno. "Powerful,"
"clever," "refreshing," and "captivating," are just some of the words that
have been used to describe Michael's non-explicit comedic style.
