Serve the au jus (The French pronounce it "oh-zhoo")
in a tiny bowl or ramekin beside the prime rib. |
| • |
For a decorative flair, plate mashed potatoes using a
pastry bag. If you don't have a pastry bag, a plastic bag will do.
Place potatoes in a plastic bag; snip off one corner and pipe potatoes
onto a serving plate. |
| • |
Bring out the best china, even on a weeknight! Prime
rib calls for a presentation comparable to its flavor. |
| • |
For a REAL Zing! Peel, then shred or grate fresh
horseradish root. Serve a dollop garnished with a sprig of parsley
beside the prime rib. Use Horseradish Sauce if fresh is not available. |

Add a little romance…cut stem of your favorite flower
to within 3 inches of blossom. Place cut flower in a votive
(candleholder) filled with water. Place flower and personal message at
each place setting. |
