Kathy Westfield is thoroughly entertaining with
her own style of comic relief. It all started when she was growing up in Los
Angeles. The third of seven children, Kathy was always the peacemaker in the
family. No matter what was happening, she could turn any situation into
something funny. She continues doing this in her stand-up routine, sharing her
humorous point of view.
Kathy works clubs and colleges all over the
country as well as performing for many civic groups, corporations and
conventions. Some of her clients include the Los Angeles Police Department,
Jack & Jill of America, Boeing and Kaiser Permanente. Kathy’s comedy is unique
in that she takes difficult experiences, as well as everyday life situations,
and shows them in a positive light. Her stand-up is totally therapeutic.
Kathy was first seen on an ABC World News
Tonight segment featuring young comedians. She was the Grand Prize Winner on
America’s Funniest People. Kathy has also appeared on The Apollo Comedy Hour
at the legendary Apollo Theatre, on BET’s Comic View and on many talk shows.
She was also featured on Good Morning America as she used her humor to provide
comic relief after the September 11th Tragedy.
Kathy’s comedy is clean and right out of her real life experiences. Her
observations are funny and insightful.
