Our asparagus rollups are made with fresh asparagus spears wrapped in a light pastry. Serve by itself or with any sauce that would complement asparagus such as hollandaise or lemon-butter. These unique vegetable appetizers make a lovely presentation for weddings, bridal showers, anniversary parties or a Mother’s Day brunch.
 
Ingredients:
 

 
Pastry Dough: Flour, vegetable shortening, water, calcium proprianate to retard spoilage. Filling: Asparagus spears, romano cheese, parmesan cheese, spices.
 
Directions:
 

 
Defrost appetizers prior to cooking. Preheat oven to 425 F. Line baking tray with parchment paper or lightly grease. Cook 12 minutes or until pastry dough is browned and filling is bubbly. Do not microwave. KEEP APPETIZERS FROZEN UNTIL READY TO PREPARE.
